Martin Fry

Martin is the head of Allens' tax practice. Martin has advised domestic and international corporations on taxation issues, arising from domestic and cross-border financing arrangements, mergers and takeovers, debt, equity, hybrid securities and corporate restructuring. He has also worked on major projects in the energy and transport sectors, and is a stand-out advisor to companies in the resources sector including Rio Tinto and Shell. Martin has advised on the implications of several major share buy-backs conducted by listed companies, corporate distributions and capital management strategies. He has extensive experience in managing tax audits and disputes with the ATO.
