Manuela has over thirty years of experience in judicial and arbitral litigation in the commercial, corporate, banking, and financial sectors, providing ongoing assistance to leading banking and financial groups, including in the capacity of trusted counsel, in complex disputes of significant strategic importance.
Her practice focuses on high-value and complex banking and financial litigation, with particular reference to derivatives and other complex financial instruments, investment services, claims concerning mis-selling and breaches of intermediaries’ conduct rules, as well as collective and class actions. She has gained substantial experience in landmark disputes and test cases, including proceedings before national and European supreme courts, with potential systemic effects on the market.
She also provides legal assistance to corporate clients in major contractual, commercial, and real estate disputes, supporting management in defining the most appropriate defense strategies and handling sensitive litigation from reputational, organizational, and regulatory perspectives.
Manuela represents clients at all levels of court and in arbitration proceedings (both domestic and international, before institutions such as CAM, ICC, VIAC, as well as in ad hoc arbitrations).
