Fabiana specialises in EU and national competition law both in litigation and non-litigation matters since 2008. Her main areas of practice embrace all aspects of EU and Italian competition law as well as merger control and consumer protection law. She gained extensive experience in assisting prominent national and international clients before the European Commission, the Italian Antitrust Authority and the Italian civil and administrative courts in high-complex proceedings concerning cartels, restrictive horizontal and vertical agreements, abuse of dominance, merger control, antitrust damages litigations and consumer protection. She has experience across a range of industries such as energy, telecoms, transportation, consumer goods, banking and financial services. She gained an extensive experience in advising clients in antitrust compliance programs tailor made for specific industries.

Fabiana has worked at the Italian Consulate in New York.

She graduated in law (magna cum laude) at the University of Siena and holds an LL.M. from the University College of London (UCL). She is co-author of the Italian chapter of the Matthew Bender, Antitrust Law and Trade Regulation.

Fabiana is recommended as an antitrust expert by the major international journals and she has recently been named by Global Competition Review as one of the world’s top 40 under 40 antitrust practitioners in its prestigious quadrennial survey which honors the brightest competition lawyers under the age of 40 across the globe. Fabiana was admitted to the Italian Bar in 2010.
