Practice Areas

Koker Christensen is Co-Leader of the firm’s Financial Services Group. He advises businesses in the financial services sector, including insurers, banks, trust companies, credit unions, payments businesses, fintechs and insurtechs. His areas of practice encompass mergers and acquisitions (M&A), reinsurance transactions, regulatory matters, anti-money laundering and corporate governance. He also advises financial institutions on incorporation and licensing.

As part of his practice, Koker frequently deals with the Office of the Superintendent of Financial Institutions (OSFI) and other financial institutions regulators.
