Kamal is a partner in the Dispute Resolution Department and heads up the firm’s Thames Gateway office. He has 30 years experience in dispute resolution covering contract and cross border disputes, gaming, international debt recovery, agency and disputes involving directors, shareholders and partners and/or members.
Joined Thomson Snell & Passmore in 1992 following qualification with city firm Turner Kenneth Brown and became a partner in 1997. Opened and has lead the firm's Thames Gateway office since 2005.
Board of Thames Gateway Kent Partnership and Chair of the Board of Trustees of Abigail's Footsteps. Previous positions include Chair of Thames Gateway (Kent) Chamber of Commerce, Chair of North Kent Employment & Skills Board, Advisor to Common Purpose (Kent) and Shadow Trustee of the proposed Gravesham Housing Association.
