Jose Miguel Anies

José Miguel Aniés Escudé is a partner in the Labor and Employment Law practice of the Barcelona office.

He has extensive litigation expeerience, in particular, in the management of complex legal proceedings before the labor and judicial review courts, in all types of individual and collective lawsuits, and his clients include both public and private enterprises.

He has a degree in law and business administration from Universitat Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona and has lectured on the Master's Degree in Labor Law CVounseling at Centro de Estudios Financieros in Barcelona since and at Universidad a distanciade Madrid (UDIMA) since . He has also been singled out by the international directory Best Lawyers, as the Best Lawyer in Spain since in the "Labor and Employment Law" practice area.

He has extensive litigation experience, in particular, in the management of complex legal proceedings before the labor and judicial review courts, in all types of individual and collective lawsuits, modification and suspension of working conditions, business successions and special employment relationships, such as those of senior management and professional athletes. Specifically, in the has acted as counsel in legal proceedings at all instances before the labor courts, high courts of justice, Supreme Court, Constitucional Court and Court of Justice of the European Union (Gran Chamber).

He provides strategic labor law advice to public and private companies from a range of industries, specializing, in particular, in financial institucions, transport and healthcare, among others.
