Jennifer is the Co-Group Leader of the Construction Practice. Jennifer frequently represents owners, contractors, specialty contractors, and suppliers in claims relating to contract disputes, delay, wrongful termination, and errors and omissions. Having participated in several successful trials, arbitrations, and mediations, she has insight into issues important to the construction industry and the nuances that can accompany this area of law. Her clients are national and international, and she has experience in courts and arbitration throughout the country.
Jennifer has successfully litigated and arbitrated cases involving sports facilities, healthcare facilities, high-rises, federal government projects, student housing and offshore pipeline work. Her successes include her role in a four-week arbitration that resulted in a defense verdict on behalf of a design-build contractor and a federal trial victory representing a specialty subcontractor as the plaintiff in a breach of contract claim.
In addition to her extensive litigation practice, Jennifer advises clients in the construction industry on contracts and transactions. She has drafted custom agreements for both owners and construction companies. She also provides day-to-day counseling to minimize the risk of disputes or future litigation during ongoing projects.
Jennifer is also a member of the firm’s eDiscovery practice, a cross-disciplinary team of attorneys who counsel clients on best practices and defensible strategies to maximize efficiency and ensure a quality review of essential case documents. She is adept in handling e-discovery for large construction matters.
