Lori represents commercial real estate clients in the acquisition, disposition, and development of commercial property, including convenience stores with fuel facilities, retail centers, office buildings, warehouse facilities, and mixed-use developments. In addition, she represented commercial property owners in the financing of development projects utilizing New Markets Tax Credit financing. Lori also has a robust leasing practice (representing landlords and tenants) for retail, office, warehouse, and manufacturing facilities with a mix of space leases and ground leases.

With a background working on the business side of real estate, Lori has a unique understanding of the goals and challenges her clients face. She effectively blends her legal skills and business acumen to achieve her clients’ objectives. Before attending law school, Lori was the real estate manager for a convenience store chain with approximately 1,000 stores located throughout seven Midwestern states, the company’s real estate portfolio and working on new store development. Lori’s clients find her business experience particularly useful when evaluating legal issues from a management and operational perspective.

Lori is Co-Group Leader of the firm’s Real Estate Practice.
