Andy has handled claims involving contract termination, design malpractice, defective workmanship, schedule delays and inefficiencies, differing site conditions, insurance coverage and extra work. His practice covers the spectrum of issues involving the construction process on behalf of contractors, design professionals and owners, from drafting and negotiating construction contracts to providing real-time advice to clients during a project to formal dispute resolution. He also serves as an arbitrator and mediator. He has served as a neutral for many significant multi-party construction disputes with damages involving more than $100 million.

Before becoming an attorney, Andy worked for 10 years as a mechanical engineer/project manager for Brown & Root, a large engineering and construction company in Houston, Texas. He is a registered professional engineer in Texas and obtained LEED Green Associate accreditation.
