Javier de Rojas Sánchez

Broad experience in the tax advice to M&A transactions, sale and purchase of Spanish companies, reorganization and restructuring of Groups and other equity transactions, including the analysis of financial products, mainly focused at international private-equity players, even though also for Spanish financial and industrial investors. Also provides permanent tax advice in different areas to Spanish and multinational groups in their daily entrepreneurial activities, coordinating the activity performed by Garrigues in the different tax areas for these groups.

Has developed his career at Garrigues since 1998, becoming during the last years one of the leading tax partners at the M&A and transactions practice.

Professor of Spanish financial system (Universidad Pontificia de Comillas, Master de Acceso a la Abogacía) as well as several lectures in relation to M&A and equity transactions at the Madrid Bar Association, Escuela de Hacienda Pública, Centro de Estudios Garrigues and other institutions.

Represents Garrigues before ASCRI (Asociación Española de Capital, Crecimiento e Inversión) and INCARI (Instituto de Capital Riesgo). Also, participates representing Garrigues with the WSG (World Services Group) and the EU Private Equity Group.
