Jaime Sanabria-Montañez is partner at the areas of Employment, Dispute Resolution: Litigation and Arbitration, Data Protection and Privacy, and Cybersecurity at ECIJA Puerto Rico.

Career

Jaime has extensive trial experience in appellate forums, before Puerto Rico and federal courts and in quasi-judicial administrative forums, in addition to advising clients on labor and employment law matters. Besides, Jaime has more than 16 years of experience advising Puerto Rican and international companies in these areas.

He has been an adjunct professor at the University of Puerto Rico School of Law and teaches courses to judges at the Judicial Academy of Puerto Rico on labor and employment law. He is a member of the Board of Admissions to the Practice of Law in Puerto Rico and has published numerous articles on labour law in legal journals.

He obtained his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Puerto Rico, LL.B. from the University of Barcelona School of Law and LL.M. from Columbia University in New York.
