Mr. Hongchuan Liu is one of the founding partners of AnJie Broad Law Firm. Before co-founding Anjie Broad, he had worked at Skadden Arps and Clifford Chance for numerous years. He graduated from Peking University School of Law and Harvard Law School.
Through more than thirty years of his legal career, Mr. Liu represented a large number of well-known international enterprises on their FDI, M&A and general corporate matters in China. In the recent years, he advised numerous renowned Chinese stated-owned and public companies in their overseas investments and acquisitions. Mr. Liu is widely recognized as one of the leading lawyers in the PE/VC, FDI and cross-border M&A fields.
He is an arbitrator of CIETAC (China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission), BAC (Beijing Arbitration Commission) and SCIA (Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration). He is a member of the National Bar of China as well as the Bar of the New York State.
Mr. Hongchuan Liu is a member of the Harvard Law School Leadership Council and an independent director for three Chinese public companies.
