Career
Kehua graduated from China University Political Science and Law (LLB, International Economic Law) in 2002 and Law School of University of Lancaster (LLM, International Business and Corporate Law) in 2004.
In 2020, Kehua joined Jingtian& Gongcheng as a partner. Before joining Jingtian& Gongcheng, from 2006 to April 2007, Kehua worked in Commerce &Finance law firm at Beijing, practicing in the field of WTO disputes. In May 2007, Kehua joined Wang Jing & Co and were promoted as the partner in 2014. Kehua joined Wei Tu(in association with Stephenson Harwood) in June 2017 as a partner.
Kehua has experience with a broad range of matters involving M&A, foreign direct investment, international trade and intellectual property. His clients are mainly European and US large and medium-sized international companies. Kehua is long focusing on foreign direct investment, cross-border equity and asset acquisitions including cross-border transaction, due diligence and providing pragmatic advice to assist the clients to achieve their commercial goal.
Kehua has extensive experience in commercial litigation, which includes acting for cases before the Supreme Court. He relies on his in-depth insight into foreign related dispute resolution to help clients navigate complex Chinese juridical procedure and safeguard their reputation. Also he has significant experience in domestic and foreign related arbitration at CIETAC in Beijing, SHIAC in Shanghai and other international arbitration committee.
Kehua was admitted to the PRC bar in 2008. He is fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese.
