Guanchun Dai

Mr. Guanchun Dai graduated from Peking University Law School in 1998 with an LLB degree. He obtained an LL.M. degree from University of Virginia School of Law in 2003.

Mr. Dai started his legal profession in Jingtian & Gongcheng from 1998 to 2005.

Mr. Dai specializes in securities law and capital market, cross-border M & A, real estate, infrastructure and mineral resources investment, etc.

In the area of securities and capital market, Mr. Dai has been advising on the H-Shares or Red Chips offering of more than ten companies，including CNOOC Limited, Ju Teng International Holdings Limited, CIG Yangtze Ports PLC, Nam Tai Electronic & Electrical Products Limited and China Power International Limited, covering a wide range of industry sectors including energy, electronics, real estate and infrastructure. Mr. Dai has also been acting as international or PRC legal counsel in several large-scale cross-border M & A projects by Chinese enterprises.

Mr. Dai obtained the PRC lawyer's qualification certificate in 1998 and was admitted to the New York bar in 2003.

Mr. Dai is a native mandarin speaker and is fluent in English.
