Partner in the firm's Employee Benefits Practice, David Kaplan’s practice focuses on executive compensation and related tax, SEC disclosure and corporate governance matters. In particular, David devotes significant attention to the design, documentation and operation of equity incentive plans, deferred compensation arrangements and senior executive employment, change in control and separation agreements. Publicly traded companies and the compensation committees of their boards often seek his advice on senior executive transitions. David also works frequently on the benefits and compensation aspects of corporate transactions.
