Evelyn helps financially distressed companies, creditors, and other key constituents navigate the complex business and legal issues that arise in bankruptcy, insolvency, and distressed M&A matters.
Evelyn focuses her practice on corporate bankruptcy, insolvency, distressed M&A, and creditors’ rights. With more than 20 years of experience, Evelyn understands all facets of a problem or opportunity, strategically devising insightful, innovative, and practical solutions that protect and advance her clients’ interests.
Evelyn has significant experience guiding corporate debtors, creditors’ committees, secured and unsecured creditors, and others through all aspects of complex Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 proceedings. Evelyn’s clients also include both plaintiffs and defendants in bankruptcy-related litigation matters, including avoidance actions.
Evelyn routinely represents companies, assignees and key constituents in connection with assignment for the benefit of creditors (ABC) proceedings in the Delaware Chancery Court and around the U.S.
She regularly represents sellers and purchasers in distressed M&A transactions, including Article 9 sales, asset sales conducted as part of an ABC, and sales conducted pursuant to section 363 of the Bankruptcy Code.
Evelyn frequently lectures at national conferences on distressed M&A, and various bankruptcy and restructuring topics.

Evelyn is active in numerous professional organizations, including serving as the chair for the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC), serving on the Board of Directors for the American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI), serving as co-chair of the ABI International North American Insolvency Symposium, serving on the Law360 Bankruptcy Editorial Board, and serving as co-chair of the Delaware State Bar Association’s Bankruptcy Section Legislative Committee.
