Stevens provides clients with a common-sense approach to employment and represents employers in litigation, administrative proceedings and labor relations matters with a focus on healthcare and financial institutions. He represents both union and nonunion employers in: claims under anti-discrimination laws; defense of whistleblower and retaliation claims; litigation involving wage and hour laws; contract negotiations; arbitration; union-free elections; federal compliance audits; Department of Labor investigations and OSHA and TOSHA investigations.
He also assists clients with compliance and litigation avoidance by conducting in-house training for management; providing guidance in affirmative action plans and preparing and implementing employment policies.
