Main area of work: corporate law and mergers and acquisitions and other corporate restructuring transactions in connection with public and private companies (private equity, public takeover bids, etc), in particular, in the financial sector. Issuance of securities. Legal advisory to insurance and reinsurance companies in contractual and regulatory matters.

Recent work: Sale by AXA and CBRE of their porfolio of student houses (Siresa) to PGGM (€900MM) and the public tender offer over Mediaset España by its controlling shareholder MFE-MEDIAFOREUROPE (€504MM). Álvaro clearly maintains a high end focus that has led him, year after year, to be involved in the landmark deals in the market.
