■Advised Coillte on the sale of its operating wind farm assets to Greencoat Renewables plc for €281m
■Advised Greencoat Renewables plc on a number of transactions in 2017-2018, including its €250m revolving credit facility and its €111m share placing both of which enabled it to make a number of high profile acquisitions
■Advised Statkraft on its acquisition of the Element Power wind development business in Ireland and the UK
■Advised Primary Health Properties on its acquisition of a portfolio of primary care centre businesses in Ireland
■Advised Lakeland Dairies on its merger with LacPatrick to create the second largest dairy processor in Ireland

Dispute Resolution & Litigation:

The dispute resolution and litigation group advises on many of the major complex cases before the Irish Courts in the financial, corporate and state sectors and is often the first port of call for major corporates who find themselves in a dispute or who require advice on a matter that may become contentious.
■Advising in a number of major State-established Judge-led investigations including Project Eagle Commission, SiteServ Commission and Disclosures Tribunal
■Advising INM plc in relation to a Whistleblowing Report under the Protected Disclosures Act
■Retained by De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek N.V. to act for DAF in defending follow-on damages claims in Ireland ■Acting for VHI in two separate sets of High Court proceedings brought by medical service providers
■Acted for the Government of the United States of America in its intervention in Commercial Court proceedings by Ireland’s Data Protection. Commissioner against Facebook Ireland Limited and Maximillian Schrems
■Developed an alternative dispute process for DePuy International which was approved by the Irish High Court

Real Estate & Construction:

The real estate group comprises of commercial real estate and construction elements including complex acquisitions and disposals, projects work, re-structuring, security and enforcement, tax-based deals as well as construction schemes and disputes for domestic and international companies.
■Advising National Paediatric Hospital Development Board on the procurement and construction of the New Children’s Hospital, the largest capital investment project undertaken in healthcare in Ireland
■Advising ESB Group on an urban regeneration project involving the demolition of existing buildings, the retention and refurbishment of protected Georgian structures and the construction of a new seven-story office block as designed by international architects
■Acted in relation to the sale and development of Exo Building, a landmark 17-storey development in Dublin’s prime North Docks district
■Advised Hudson Advisors on behalf of Lone Star Fund on the legal sale process, co-ordinating the legal due diligence materials and all contract negotiations for prime real estate off Grafton Street
■Advising Project Management Group/ Jacobs Joint Venture on the joint venture consisting of Ireland’s two largest multi-disciplinary consultancies in its negotiations with Merck for Merck’s €650m expansion of its Dublin facility
