Tom Dane graduated from University of Aberdeen (MA Hons) in 1998 and City University London (LLB Hons) in 2001. He qualified in 2006 and has been a Partner at McCann FitzGerald LLP since 2014. Tom acts for both lenders and borrowers in relation to property finance, development finance, acquisition finance, cash-flow lending, student accommodation, hotels, SME lending and syndicated lending. This includes advising on lending to funds, including ICAVs and other forms of QIAIFs. Tom acts for several non bank lenders and has a lot of recent experience in this market. Tom has considerable recent experience in development finance transactions and has acted for lenders and borrowers on several major recent construction projects. Tom also has significant experience in debt led joint ventures and restructurings.
