Career

John Neeson graduated from Trinity College Dublin (LLB) in 2001 and qualified in 2012. He became a partner with McCann FitzGerald LLP in 2021. John provides advice across a wide spectrum of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, venture capital financings and joint ventures. He has particular strength in M&A and equity capital raises within the technology and renewable energy industries. He frequently represents private equity sponsors and financial institutions on acquisitions, exits and restructurings, and is especially skilled in advising management teams involved in private equity deals. His experience spans the full lifecycle of private equity and venture capital transactions, from early-stage start-up funding through to equity and debt financing for buyouts, and every stage in between.
