The Projects team at McCann FitzGerald LLP has extensive experience advising public and private sector clients across road, rail, education, energy, water, waste, leisure, justice and housing. We have been involved in the vast majority of Ireland’s PPP projects, delivering strategic advice on some of the State’s most significant infrastructure developments.

We act for State agencies, sponsors, lenders, contractors and suppliers, providing a comprehensive perspective across the full project lifecycle. Our experience on all sides of the market enables us to anticipate challenges early, manage risk effectively and develop practical, solution-driven outcomes that keep complex projects on track. Our work spans flagship waste-to-energy facilities, major court and convention centre developments, large-scale transport programmes and landmark healthcare infrastructure. We advise on project financing for renewable energy portfolios and energy storage initiatives, as well as on social housing funding and delivery structures.

The team has played a central role in major PPP roads programmes and light rail developments, and in the procurement and construction of transformative public infrastructure, including Ireland’s largest ever healthcare capital project. We also advise on social housing PPP programmes and university campus developments, supporting clients from procurement and financing through to construction and operation.
