Sean Carr graduated from National University Ireland, Galway (BCL) in 2004 and qualified in 2011. He has been a Partner within McCann FitzGerald LLP since 2022, which he joined in 2014. Sean is ideally suited to assist in all aspects of contract administration advisory services. He has previously advised employers (both private and public sector), contractors and engineers throughout a number of residential and commercial developments including advising on all aspects of construction contracts (drafting and negotiating), advisory services during the course of construction and assisting with any disputes arising, with a particular focus on the ADR provisions (arbitration, adjudication, mediation and conciliation) of the contract to seek to resolve disputes in a time and cost efficient manner. Through his work in construction disputes, Sean is very familiar with the potential pitfalls in contract drafting and he uses his experience from the disputes side when advising clients on contract negotiations.
