Career

Fergus Gillen graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1994 and qualified in Ireland in 1997. He was made a Partner in the Finance Group in 2004. He focuses on debt finance work, with a particular emphasis on debt capital markets (public and private), restructuring, securitisation, structured finance and corporate lending transactions. Fergus advises many financial institutions, non-financial corporates and state-owned entities. Fergus has an active practice advising a range of non-bank lenders on the structuring, funding and servicing of their lending platforms, utilising techniques such as secured warehouse credit lines and securitisation.
