The Asset Management & Investment Funds team at McCann FitzGerald LLP delivers integrated legal, regulatory, derivatives, listing, governance and tax expertise to leading international and domestic fund managers and service providers. We provide a full suite of legal, company secretarial and regulatory services to Irish authorised funds and their managers.

We have specialist experience across UCITS, ETFs, structured products, alternative investment funds (retail and professional), money market funds, hedge funds, private equity, real estate funds and REITs, managed account platforms and closed-ended structures. We advise extensively on the structuring and establishment of funds of all types and are regularly at the forefront of industry innovation, including complex UCITS, Irish-domiciled ETFs, AIFM authorisations, redomiciliations and bespoke investment strategies.

Our team provides comprehensive regulatory support, advising on governance, fitness and probity, remuneration, risk, valuation, conflicts, AML and cyber security. We have significant experience in supervisory engagement, from reporting and inspections to investigations and sanctions, and we deliver fund registration and passporting services across Europe.

We advise widely on derivatives and EMIR compliance, acting as Irish counsel on ISDA, GMRA, OSLA and GMSLA documentation. Through our dedicated listing subsidiary, we provide stock exchange listing services for funds and debt securities.
