T. Gaillard Uhlhorn

Gil Uhlhorn works primarily with publicly traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and commercial real estate owners and developers, advising clients on the acquisition, development, disposition and financing of real estate assets. He also assists with long-range planning, leasing and day-to-day operational issues encountered by owners of real estate. As co-lead of the firm’s multifamily housing subpractice, Gil regularly assists multifamily owners, operators and developers in connection with the acquisition, disposition and development of multifamily housing communities across the country. In the past five years alone, Gil has assisted public and private clients in more than $2.3 billion worth of real estate purchase and sale transactions and $11 billion in financing transactions.

Additionally, Gil represents local, regional and national business owners and developers on real estate and corporate matters, and serves in the capacity of outside general counsel to several smaller companies, advising on a variety of business-related legal matters. His practice includes:
