Work highlights include (1) landlord/tenant issues, including lease enforcement; keep trading obligations; significant dilapidations claims; successfully acting in lease consent application disputes; notice validity disputes; Tenancy of Shops Act applications; and subletting and assignation disputes; (2) real property issues including challenges to land registration decisions by Keeper of Registers; missives disputes; title conditions advice and applications to the Lands Tribunal to remove title conditions; and servitude and boundary disputes; and (3) commercial litigation including contract disputes; partnership disputes; judicial review applications including in relation to planning and environmental matters; statutory appeals; professional negligence claims; insolvency; and security enforcement. Qualified mediator. Frequently appointed as an arbitrator in property and contract disputes.
