Debbie Dewar

Debbie is a Partner in our specialist Land and Rural Business Team. She works with land managers and agents on property and private client matters including the purchase and sale of farms, estates and forestry; agricultural and commercial leases; diversification projects; security work and succession advice.

Debbie also acts for major lenders in the field of agriculture and renewables and regularly secures multi-million pound assets to lenders often in conjunction with her colleagues in Thorntons’ corporate team.

Debbie is recognised for her strong technical knowledge and pragmatic, down to earth advice, and provides added value to her work by delivering training to in-house staff and land agents on title issues and agricultural law.
