A partner at WKB, Sergiusz heads the Environmental Law practice. He advises domestic and foreign businesses and public entities on environmental law regulations, nature conservation, water management and geological and mining laws, with special focus on Environmental Impact Assessments and regulatory issues such as waste management and international shipment thereof, end-of-waste status, water management and sewage disposal, environmental liability including soil and ground pollution, emissions of gases and dust and noise protection. He also advises on various environment-related issues of product liability, construction processes, ESG, environmental compliance etc., in addition to assisting authorities and public utilities companies with regard to services provided to individuals. He also specialises in EU and Polish policies and EU funds supporting environmental protection goals. He is a university lecturer as well as an author of numerous publications on environmental protection law.
