A co-founder and partner at WKB Lawyers, Jan co-heads the Public Procurement practice and the Business Criminal Law practice. He advises major Polish and international companies, notably from the energy and construction industries, on all sorts of public law-related matters and has assisted in key tenders in some of Poland’s largest infrastructure projects. He represents clients in disputes concerning public procurement issues, including when criminal charges are involved. As a recognised expert in the field, Jan participates in legislative works concerning public procurement law and related criminal law regulations. He is a member of the board of The Public Procurement Law Association, a mediator at the Arbitration Court at The General Counsel to the Republic of Poland (Prokuratoria Generalna Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej), an arbitrator of The Court of Arbitration for Sport at the Polish Olympic Committee and of the Internet Domain Court. Jan also heads WKB’s Italian desk, representing many of the leading Italian businesses active or looking to expand in Poland.
