Career

Mr. Luo is a veteran litigator with extensive experience in intellectual property and anti-trust disputes. He has particular expertise in representing clients in complex transnational standard essential patent licensing disputes. With his deep insight into the IP protection regime in China, Mr. Luo has helped his clients won many landmark cases across, a number of which have been selected as guideline cases by the Supreme People's Court, Beijing High People's Court, Fujian High People’s Court and Beijing IP Court. Beyond the courtrooms, Mr. Luo also advises or represents his client in complex IP licensing negotiations. Combining his deep knowledges of judicial practices across different jurisdictions and global perspective strategical thinkings, Mr. Luo has helped his clients to secure many favorable deals in the licensing of SEPs. Mr. Luo also has vast experience with patent invalidation proceedings before the CNIPA. Leveraging his technical education background, Mr. Luo has represented his clients in several landmark patent invalidation cases regarding telecommunication and semiconductor technologies.
