Mr. Tang stands out in the field of PRC cybersecurity and data protection law, which is an important emerging area of law. He regularly counsels clients on establishing data compliance systems, completing government registrations for artificial intelligence and related technologies, cross-border data transfer issues, and investigating and managing data incident crises.

Mr. Tang has long advised clients that include Fortune 500 Global and other multinational and foreign companies, whom he regularly advises in connection with matters such as cybersecurity and data protection, mergers and acquisitions, compliance policies and guidelines, internal compliance reviews, audits and government investigations involving commercial bribery, and other regulatory compliance matters. Mr. Tang also advises large- and medium-sized Chinese companies on doing business in overseas markets, particularly in assisting with Chinese companies’ outbound direct investments and mergers and acquisitions.
