Ramiro Sandoval

Ramiro is a valuable team player who strives to create highly effective working relationships with the Firm’s clients and their business partners. Since Ramiro joined Galicia, he has focused on M&A, private equity and real estate matters, mostly dedicated to transactional work.

He is a partner in Galicia’s Mergers & Acquisitions practice and heads the Real Estate area.

Ramiro advises private equity funds, family offices, institutional and strategic investors, real estate developers and sponsors, real estate investment trusts (REITs), asset managers, lenders and major corporations on a wide range of mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, real estate asset acquisition and disposition transactions, and asset-backed financings. In his real estate practice, he represents some of the largest real estate developers and investors in Mexico.

He obtained his Law Degree from Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico and a Master of Science in Law and Finance from Queen Mary University of London. Ramiro currently co-heads the Cátedra Galicia program at Universidad Panamericana Law School in Mexico City. He has also served as a secretary and independent member on several boards of directors.

He has international experience working as a foreign associate at Dechert LLP in New York.

He is recognized as an expert and leading lawyer by renowned international publications, such as Chambers Latin American Guide, in the Real Estate practice. Latin Lawyer and The Legal 500 Latin American Guide consider him a leading lawyer in his practice. Leaders League identifies him as an expert in the real estate and hospitality sector in Mexico.

Ramiro is a member of the Innovation & Technology Committee at the Firm.
