María de los Ángeles joined the Firm as an intern in the Capital Markets and Banking & Finance practices. Her professional development went from associate to partner of both practices. Additionally, her practice consists of local and cross-border bank financings, representing both debtors and financial institutions.

She worked in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José, Costa Rica. She also participated in Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton LLP’s foreign associates program in New York.

She holds a Law Degree with honors from Escuela Libre de Derecho in Mexico City and an LL.M. degree from University of Chicago Law School in the United States.

She is a tenured professor for the securitization module in the Postgraduate Commercial Specialization at Escuela Libre de Derecho.
