Career
Mr. Peiming Yang received his LL.B. degree from Fudan University School of Law. He started practicing law in 1997, and had been a partner at a famous local law firm for a decade. In 2000, he attended a training program sponsored by the Ministry of Justice and worked with Clifford Chance Hong Kong office. Mr. Yang has participated in many Lawyers Debates. He is awarded as "the Best Debater" and has also received many other honorary titles. Mr. Yang joined Llinks Law Offices as a partner in February 2012. Mr.Yang is a vice director of Civil and Commercial Litigation Research Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.
Experience
Mr. Yang is an excellent litigator and arbitration lawyer, and also serves as an arbitrator at various arbitration institutions, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, Shanghai International Arbitration Centre, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, and Nanjing Arbitration Commission. In addition to his expertise in traditional civil and commercial litigation, Mr. Yang has recently focused on financial dispute resolution, particularly excelling in emerging financial disputes such as bond defaults/misrepresentation disputes, asset management contract disputes, and securities company financing disputes. He has represented numerous large financial institutions and multinational corporations in hundreds of litigation and arbitration cases, with the total value of the cases exceeding 10 billion RMB. Mr. Yang's professionalism and influence in the field of financial dispute resolution have been widely recognized by regulatory authorities and clients, giving him a unique competitive advantage in the dispute resolution market in Mainland China.
Mr. Yang is also a perennial legal counsel for many international and local corporations, advising on their daily operations, investments, restructuring & insolvency, merger & acquisition, financing and others.
Mr. Yang has been consecutively recognized as a "Litigation Star" by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific for four years (2018-2021). He has been listed seven times (2015-2021) as a recommended lawyer in the dispute resolution field by Chambers Asia-Pacific. Additionally, he has been named one of "China's Top 15 Litigators" by Asian Legal Business on four occasions and recommended as a leading lawyer in dispute resolution by Asialaw Leading Lawyers. The Legal 500 has also recognized him as a recommended lawyer for dispute resolution in China. Furthermore, Attorney Yang was honored with the title of "Shanghai Outstanding Lawyer" from 2019 to 2022.
