Ms. Selena She received her LL.B. and LL.M. degree from Fudan University Law School and the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law. Ms. She has worked with several distinguished Chinese and foreign law firms, representing a broad network of emerging companies, financial institutions, investors, venture capital firms and private equity firms. Ms. She has also practiced for more than ten years in the Silicon Valley and prior to her study in the US, with a foreign law firm's Shanghai representative office for over four years. Ms. She joined Llinks as a partner in October 2012.

She has advised a wide variety of clients, including leading investment banks, investment funds, Fortune 500 companies and various private equity funds on their investments in China. The clients she represented include GE, DHL, Applied Materials, GM, Fujitsu, Whirlpool, RREEF/Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Lehman Brothers, Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Swiss, Morgan Stanley, LightSpeed, Sycamore, Sina, etc.; and spread over various industries, including investment, finance, hi-tech, media, telecom, internet, real estate, energy, auto, education, medical, food, manufacturing, retail and consumer, etc. Attributable to her extensive experience, Ms. She has profound understanding of various clients’ needs; which was recognized by various ranking institutions in the legal industry, including Chambers Global Leading Lawyers, Chambers Asia Leading Lawyers, & the Legal 500, etc.
In addition to her practice, Ms. She constantly dedicates her time and efforts on community services and helped many Chinese and international organizations including IMF and World Bank on their pro bono projects. • Advised a Fortune 500 company on its acquisition of a Shanghai Stock Exchange listed home appliance company involving share purchase, private placement, waiver of tender offering, foreign strategic investment application and anti-trust filing, with a total transaction value of over US$600 million;
• Advised a US M&A fund and one of its portfolio companies on their acquisition of a Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed refractory material manufacturing company involving share purchase, foreign strategic investment application and anti-trust filing, with a total transaction value of over US$160 million;
• Advised a global market leader in the international express and air freight industry in its series acquisition of eleven Chinese counterparts, involving a complex offshore structure and Chinese M&A regulation compliance issues, with a total deal size approaching US$100million;
• Advised a major US semiconductor company in structuring its US$120 million bank loan with two major Chinese commercial banks to fund the expansion of its Chinese operations by both acquiring Chinese counterparts and establishing new entities;
• Advised an Italian public food processing company in acquiring its Chinese counterpart through asset purchase from state-owned company, equity acquisition of a private Chinese company, and/or establishment of new WFOE entities;
• Advised one of the largest European banks in the U.K. during its acquisition of a Netherland bank on the design of the China investment strategy and deal restructure; and the arrangement of the relevant assets in China;
• Advised a Chinese major apparel manufacturer on its US$70 million pre-IPO private equity finance with an offshore structure involving round-trip investment and acquisition of its domestic assets;
• Advised an international opportunity fund on its US$80 million investment in a Chinese chemical engineering and energy group;
• Advised an international real estate fund on its equity acquisition involving a development complex in Suzhou, China, containing an office building, a retail shopping area, service apartments, and luxury apartments; and
• Advised one of the largest U.S. real estate funds on its acquisition of real estate properties in Shanghai, China through a multi-layered onshore and offshore deal structure.
