Career
Mr. Teddy Li graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a Bachelor's degree in law and a Master’s degree in law. Mr. Li joined Llinks Law Offices in 2006 and participated in an international lawyers’ internship programme in an Irish law firm A&L Goodbody in Ireland in 2012. He is currently a member of Construction and Infrastructure Research Committee of Shanghai Bar Association.
Experience
Mr. Li’s practice areas mainly focus on real estate, M&A and investment. He has advised a number of financial and insurance groups, foreign and domestic private equity funds, real estate companies, and logistics companies on numerous cross-border and domestic M&A projects as well as real estate projects, which include corporate M&A and reorganization, cross-border and domestic real estate acquisition, equity and debt financing, structured financing, real estate project investments, construction and operation and etc.
In the area of private equity and venture capital investments, Mr. Li has represented a number of foreign and domestic private equity funds investing, acquiring, restructuring and selling various portfolio companies in China. He has also assisted founders and portfolio companies in dealing with their corporate equity and debt financing related legal issues. Meanwhile, Mr. Li has also provided legal services for various foreign and domestic fund managers in establishing their RMB private equity funds in different cities of China.

• Advised the Singapore PE firm Alpha Investment Partners on its acquisition of majority interests in Lifehub @ Jinqiao from Morgan Stanley, and its acquisition of ICP Tower in Shanghai from ARA
• Advised HNA Group on its acquisition of Westin Hotel and its affiliated office building in Guangzhou
• Advised Ping’An Real Estate (PARE) and its affiliates in the equity investment and project finance for hundreds of projects
• Advised Red Star Macalline on its retail property acquisitions and group reorganizations in many cities in China
• Advised Macquarie Group on the liquidation of its real estate subsidiary and relevant project in Shanghai
