Mr. Bernie Liu graduated with an LL.B. from East China University of Politics and Law, an LL.M. in International Business Law from the University of Manchester, and a CPE and PGDL in British common law from the College of Law, London. Bernie Liu joined Llinks Law Offices in 2004.
Mr. Liu’s practice focuses on M&A and real estate. He has advised many multinational corporations, financial and insurance groups, foreign and domestic private equity funds, real estate companies, and logistics companies on numerous cross-border and domestic M&A, and real estate projects, including: corporate M&A and reorganization, cross-border and domestic real estate acquisition, IPO by a real estate company, equity and debt financing (including private equity funds, trust plan and special asset management plan), structured financing, land leveling and development, and project construction and operation.
Mr. Liu was honored as one of "2015 Rising Star" in China by Asian Legal Business, named as one of 2017 Lujiazui “Top Ten Elite Returnees” by Lujiazui Financial Center and nominated as " Best Lawyer in Real Estate and Construction" in 2016 and 2018 by China Law and Practice. Mr. Liu was also awarded as a recommended lawyer in Corporate and M&A/Construction & Real Estate by The Legal 500 and Asialaw Leading Lawyers for consecutive years.
