Career
Christophe Han graduated with an LL.B. degree from East China University of Politics and Law, and undertook postgraduate advanced studies in international law at Fudan University School of Law. Christophe also received his EMBA degree from Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance. Prior to joining Llinks Law Offices, Christophe worked as both lawyer and partner at a well-known law firm in China. He was also trained at a prominent law firm in France. In 1998, he co-founded Llinks Law Offices. Christophe is currently appointed as the Executive Partner and the Head of Managing Committee of the firm.
Professional Memberships
Christophe served as a committee member at the Seventh and Eighth Review Board for the Offering of Equities at the China Securities Regulatory Commission. He was appointed by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security of the PRC to serve as a member of the First and Second Appraisal Committee for the Corporate Annuity Fund. Christophe served as a member of the First Listing Advisory Committee of Shanghai Stock Exchange, a member of the Legal Advisory Group of the Shanghai Pudong Government as well as a member of the Legal Advisory Group of the Hainan Provincial Government. Christophe also served as a member of the Eighth and Ninth Council of Shanghai Bar Association from 2008 to 2015.
Experience
In the practice areas of corporate and mergers and acquisitions, Christophe has provided legal advice on mergers and acquisitions for many MNCs, FIEs and domestic enterprises. He has also provided legal services on restructuring and corporate governance to large state-owned enterprises as well as listed companies.
In the practice areas of public offerings of securities and capital markets, Christophe has acted as the legal counsel for issuers, or international and domestic underwriters. Christophe has advised more than 100 companies in relation to domestic and overseas listings. He also has provided a full range of legal services from structuring, drafting, negotiation and issuing legal opinions to completion and settlement for listing companies on M&A and restructuring deals.
In the investment funds arena, Christophe has provided legal services and represented many domestic and foreign financial institutions in setting up more than 10 joint venture fund management companies. In addition, he has provided legal services to more than 100 securities investment funds in their public fund raising including the first open-end fund, the first index-linked fund and the first quasi-money market fund in China as well as
various local and foreign venture capital and private equity funds in their investment projects in China.
Christophe is frequently recommended as a leading lawyer in the practice areas of capital markets and M&A by Chambers Global, Chambers Asia-pacific, International Financial Law Review 1000; Asialaw Profiles and Legalband. He was nominated as one of the Best Managing Partners by Asian Legal Business in 2009, 2013, 2014 and 2022. In 2025, he was honored as the "Managing Partner of the Year" by GRCD.
