Commercial Dispute Resolution with particular specialisms in complex corporate shareholder and partnership disputes including claims for damages and injunctive relief. I have great experience dealing with disputes arising out of corporate M&A as well as advising shareholders in Companies Act petitions and directors duty claims.
I deal regularly with cases involving allegations of fraud and I have also dealt with disputes against HMRC in the tax tribunal.
I also have a specialism in trusts and estate disputes, being an associate member of STEP.
I trained at Halliwells in Liverpool having qualified in 2005. I joined Hill Dickinson in 2010 and became a partner in 2020. I am a member of the firm’s risk committee and am National Head of Commercial Dispute Resolution, Regulatory, Family and Restructuring leading those teams across all of the UK offices.
I was also a director of the Liverpool Law Society and President in 2018 as well as being Council Member for Merseyside on the National Law Society Council from 2018 – 2024.
