Niels M Andersen

A partner in Bech-Bruun's IP & Technology department, Niels M. Andersen brings extensive and enduring expertise to the table with his long-standing experience advising Danish and non-Danish enterprises on all types of issues within IT, intellectual property, tech, digitisation, telecom, M&A as well as entertainment. Niels’s expertise spans a wide array of agreements and transactions, from public and private IT procurement processes to outsourcing, business transfers, software licence agreements, SaaS contracts, due diligence, etc. Niels is furthermore an experienced and skilled advocate, having conducted a considerable number of cases concerning infringement of intellectual property rights.

Niels has played a pivotal role in numerous large-scale IT outsourcing projects, demonstrating his expertise in overseeing critical infrastructure operations and application management. In addition, Niels is certified as an IT attorney by the Association of Danish IT Attorneys and is involved in professional activities on, among other things, IT-related issues and enforcement of intellectual property rights. He is a seasoned lecturer in his areas of expertise and one of the founders behind the contract management system Pactius, underscoring his instrumental contributions to legal innovation in these fields.
