Némesis Guevara

Némesis is a Senior Associateat Consortium Legal – El Salvador with over 10 years of experience in administrative, civil, and commercial litigation. Throughout her career, she has worked across the public, judicial, and private sectors, building a well-rounded practice in risk management, dispute resolution, and litigation strategy.

She began her career at an autonomous municipal institution, where she gained experience in public procurement and administrative procedures, strengthening her expertise in administrative litigation. Later, she served within the judicial sector, analyzing and resolving complex cases related to collections, insurance, and civil and commercial contracts. Her experience at the Court of Appeals (Second Instance) allowed her to specialize in appeals and judicial remedies.

In private practice, she has actively represented clients in litigation, from pre-trial strategy to case resolution, developing negotiation techniques and case assessment skills with an emphasis on risk management. Her litigation expertise spans administrative, civil, commercial, criminal, and arbitration proceedings.

She has also acted as counsel in national arbitration cases under both institutional and ad hoc rules, handling claims drafting, evidence management, hearings, and challenges to arbitral awards.

Additionally, she has strong expertise in anti–money laundering (AML) compliance, advising clients on regulatory frameworks under both national and international standards for obligated entities.
