With more than 10 years of experience counseling clients in the Intellectual Property field, she specializes on the cosmetics, financial, food and beverages sector. Fabiola has a vast experience in managing large trademark and patent portfolios. Among the diverse matters of the Intellectual Property field she handles, her primary focus is on the assessment of opportunities, liabilities, risks and strategies for businesses, based on the client´s intangibles. Her commitment is to help clients achieve and fully develop their IP potential. Fabiola leads matters related to trademarks, patents, copyrights, infringement and regulatory issues.
Fabiola is very proactive in the Intellectual Property sector, and as a result, she has currently been elected as part of the Board of Directors of the Costa Rican IP Association APPICR, she is member of the Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration Committee of ASIPI and of the Internet Committee at INTA. She is also active within the Costa Rican Bar Association, where she is member of the Intellectual Property Committee and the Committee for Uniform Law and International Commerce.
