Michael Royden

Michael has been a Partner since 2000. His areas of expertise include the acquisition, disposal and merger of various types of organisation, in both public and private sectors. Michael also has expertise in drafting, review and implementation of commercial contracts, the structuring of companies, corporate and other finance arrangements, and advice in relation to charity law.

Michael has experience in a broad range of corporate governance advice. He has worked with a number of public sector bodies, advising on investment in subsidiaries, both wholly owned and involving other investors, and assistance to various businesses by loans, grant, co-investment and other funding, with a particular focus on the governance aspects of these transactions.

Michael also has significant experience in advising health professionals, with a particular focus on dentists and GPs. Michael was recognised for his expertise in this sector when he won the Professional Adviser Award at the Scottish Dental Awards 2019. Michael is a member of the Association of Specialist Providers to Dentists (ASPD), National Association of Specialist Dental Accountants and Lawyers (NASDAL) and the National Association of Specialist Solicitor Advising Doctors (NASSAD).
