Antidumping and countervailing duty matters:
Matthew defends foreign producers and US importers against US unfair trade allegations and assists US industries facing unfair import competition or surges. He has extensive experience in Asia, having worked there for six years as an international trade lawyer gaining knowledge around Vietnamese, Indonesian and Chinese companies and their business practices. Matthew leverages this experience for clients, whether defending manufacturers in those countries or assisting US manufacturers facing injurious imports from them. Customs matters:
Matthew has knowledge on the US import process, as he began his legal career with the Chief Counsel's Office of US Customs and Border Protection. His experience includes tariff classification, valuation, country of origin determinations, effective use of tariff elimination or reduction programs, and resolution disputes from US Customs and Border Protection decisions.
