Martin Sandgren heads Energy & Infrastructure and specialises in assisting Swedish and foreign clients on large and complex energy and infrastructure projects and transactions.

With more than 15 years of experience from leading law firms in London, New York, Stockholm, and Copenhagen, and as a Head of Legal at a global energy company, Martin has unique experience in the energy, infrastructure, and transport sectors in Sweden, the Nordics, and internationally, particularly within the fast-growing area of wind and other renewables.

He has an in-depth understanding of the particular needs and demands of clients in the energy and infrastructure sectors and the legal challenges specific to the industry. This enables him to help international and domestic developers, sponsors, investors, lenders, and utilities on the largest projects and transactions and the most complex and challenging legal matters in the industry.

Martin's experience covers a wide range of energy and infrastructure areas, including power and renewables, transmission and distribution, batteries, waste-to-energy, ports and terminals, pipelines, refineries, water management, and logistics and transport. It includes projects, transactional and other legal matters, including M&A, finance, project development and procurement, offtake, regulatory and other contractual and legal matters, as well as legislative and political aspects.
