Career
Mariana joined Galicia in 2017 as an associate in the Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Her work is focused on the purchase and sale of shares and assets, including drafting and negotiation of diverse contracts for this kind of transactions. The sectors/industries in which she has specialized are infrastructure, real estate and manufacturing.
She worked from 2011 to 2017 in renowned law firm as a junior associate in the corporate area.
Mariana graduated with honors from the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) Monterrey Campus (2011). She has a LL.M. from Northwestern University where she graduated with honors and a Business Certificate by IE. She also completed a Drafting Contracts in English course from Georgetown Law CLE.
She has also been a part-time professor for the undergraduate law program at Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) teaching the course of Commercial Companies.
She is recognized as a recommended associate in The Legal 500 2023 Latin American Guide in the Corporate/M&A and Real Estate practices.
Mariana is also an official English-Spanish translator authorized by the Superior Court of Justice of the State of Nuevo León.
