Margaret Hershiser advises employers on a wide range of labor and employment matters, bringing more than 25 years of experience guiding clients through complex workplace issues. Her practice spans counseling and dispute resolution – including litigation, arbitration, and mediation – with a focus on helping organizations manage risk and address employment challenges effectively.
Margaret represents clients nationwide on employment agreements, workplace policies, wage and hour compliance, discrimination claims, workers’ compensation issues, and restrictive covenants. She also counsels on executive compensation and employee benefits matters and regularly represents employers in disputes before state and federal courts and administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor. Her experience includes defending employers in high-stakes claims and working closely with EPLI carriers and insureds to mitigate exposure and achieve favorable results.
In addition to her employment practice, Margaret advises educational institutions on regulatory and governance matters, including disciplinary proceedings and Title IX compliance. She is a frequent speaker and trainer on workplace compliance topics, including harassment prevention and diversity initiatives.
