Richard D. Vroman

Rick Vroman partners with healthcare providers, organizations, and industry stakeholders on regulatory, transactional, and operational matters within the highly complex healthcare landscape. As a leader of the firm’s Health Law Practice, he helps clients navigate evolving legal requirements and develop practical strategies that support both compliance and business objectives.

Rick’s practice spans a broad range of business and regulatory issues, including entity formation, governance, employment and compensation arrangements, and commercial contracting. He regularly advises on transactional matters such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and real estate and equipment arrangements, as well as compliance with key healthcare laws, including HIPAA, the Stark Law, the Anti-Kickback Statute, and the False Claims Act. He also counsels clients on licensing, credentialing, and peer review matters and represents them before state and federal regulatory agencies.

In addition to his regulatory and transactional work, Rick assists healthcare clients in addressing employment and operational challenges, including structuring compliant relationships and resolving disputes. His experience across healthcare, employment, and compensation matters enables him to deliver integrated, practical guidance tailored to the needs of healthcare organizations.
