Ben Cowan's Environmental and Natural Resources Law Practice covers energy and infrastructure project siting and permitting, regulatory and compliance counseling, environmental risk management in transactions, contaminated site remediation, Brownfields redevelopment, and enforcement defense. Ben is particularly well known for his expertise in Endangered Species Act, Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act, and Migratory Bird Treaty Act issues affecting renewable and traditional energy projects, and has successfully obtained permits under those statutes for numerous projects across the U.S.
